About TC Engineering Ltd
ISO 9001 accredited since 2011, TC Engineering manufacture high-quality aluminium, stainless steel and acetal components for customers across the UK and internationally. Specialising in CNC and manual machining, production, prototyping, roller manufacturing, balancing and welding, TC Engineering supply precision-engineered solutions to the pharmaceutical, scientific, marine and food industries.

The Challenge
TC Engineering recently upgraded one of their two industrial compressors as part of a wider factory reconfiguration designed to improve production workflow and increase operational efficiency. The project involved relocating machinery throughout the workshop, requiring the existing electrical supplies to be disconnected, modified and reconnected safely.
With the company manufacturing high-precision components for industries including pharmaceuticals, minimising downtime was essential. Every hour of lost production could impact customer delivery schedules, so the electrical works needed to be carefully planned and completed efficiently.

The Solution
LS Electrical worked closely with this local business throughout the relocation project, disconnecting and reconnecting the electrical supplies for the replacement compressor and the relocated production machinery. Our team planned the works to minimise disruption, allowing the factory layout to be reconfigured with as little downtime as possible.
By safely resupplying the compressors and manufacturing equipment, TC Engineering was able to resume production quickly and continue delivering precision-engineered components for customers in the pharmaceutical and other high-specification industries. The completed project supports a more efficient factory layout, helping the business improve workflow while maintaining reliable electrical infrastructure for future production.
